Over 90 Dies in Tanker Explosion in Jigawa State.

Breaking: Over 90 Bodies Lie Lifeless in Jigawa State Over Tanker Explosion. 

Information reaching us this morning had it that at least 90 Bodies Lie Lifeless and Over 60 persons seriously injured and hospitalized following the explosion of petrol tanker.

The incident occurred on Tuesday evening in Majiya Town,Taura Local Government Area of Jigawa State.

Mr Shi’isu Adam, the police spokesperson on Wednesday confirmed the incident.

Mr Shi’isu Adam, said at about 11:30 p.m on Tuesday in Majiya Town, Taura Local Government Area of Jigawa State, the Tanker had a break failure near Khadija University where it exploded.Nigerian lady sentenced to 8years imprisonment in Ghana.

The driver destination was Nguru in Yobe where the vehicle was heading to before the incident happened.”

Mr Shi’isu Adam also added,”After all our warnings that nobody should near any Petrol Tanker  has fallen down, up till now they are continously engaging in such act.

“The results of mass casualties was because of  the gathering of people around the Petrol Tanker.

Mr Shi’isu Adam said that the injured victims are currently receiving  medical treatment at the Ringim General Hospital.

He also added, ” A mass burial of the victims will take place on Wednesday at 9 a.m.

Mr Shi’isu Adam also added, ” Every driver should consistently have a proper checkup of their various vehicles.

Lack of experience drivers is what eventually leads to this type incident because some drivers doesn’t have what it take to control a big vehicle.

He also added, ” A braveous plan have been made to evacuate both the victims and the said burnt vehicle.

Enugu State Government Has Impose Tax Levy to Corpse In The Mortuary.

The said vehicle will be taken to the Police Station for more investigation. We couldn’t find the driver of the vehicle.
