On 18th of November 2024, Unknown Gunmen killed four security personnel and injured (PG) of Abatete.
The said Unknown Gunmen has vowed not to stop their numerous crimes unless Mazi Nnamdi Kanu is released.
Two vehicles was set ablaze after uncontrollable shooting of gun which triggered fear among the residents.
The President General of Abatete was badly injured and has been taken to the hospital for proper treatment.
They have vowed not to stop unless the release of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu is accomplished.
They also said that any Monday sit at home will now be severely checked, Anybody found outside will face the consequences.
Many people gather around the incident area but non was able to identify one of the Unknown Gunmen.

A source reaching us said that the incident took place around 12pm noon of 18th of November 2024.
Unknown Gunmen killed four security personnel and also injured president general.
Another source reaching us said that the Unknown Gunmen came with tinted glass Toyota sienna.
No intervention was made by the Nigeria Police Force for the capture of the perpetrators.
The whole area was engulfed with sorrow and tears of people who are badly affected in the incident.
The Commissioner of Police has issued a statement saying a proper investigation will be conducted.
Unknown Gunmen has issued a serious warning indicating that every Monday sit at home shouldn’t be taken for granted.
They are also issuing a serious warning about December 2nd 2024, Nobody should come out on that day.
Romour had it that Mazi Nnamdi Kanu will be released on December 2nd 2024.
The securities killed was said to be President General of Abatete security.
The villagers main concern now is on how to secure the life their President General who was seriously injured.
This year so many attack has been carried out by these groups of people.
